Good times are back!

After the dust, that GFC is disestablished, has settled and the widget returns, nothing´s a bar to Christmas!
For everyone, who didn´t get it: On Tuesday Google Friends Connect disappears from every blog, what blows panic and acute discussions especially on Twitter. Everyone thought, that the rumour of the end of GFC, which circulates since one year, has become reality, but nil return.
Anyway the whole thing has made me thought about using Bloglovin and Twitter more often. And some day, when the end of GFC is really there, I´m well prepared and didn´ lose all my readers and blogs, I read. But Google + will never be an alternative for me!
So when you didn´t noticed the whole thing, you save yourself a lot of trouble and bother ;)

16122013: Jingle Bells

The countdown for Christmas has already started. Just one week until the final day. But until that there´s of course a lot of stress. Appointments over appointments and mainly: overcrowd shops and crush in the streets. There´re always people, buying the Christmas presents at the last moment. If everybody would start to buy them in summer, we could enjoy the Christmas spirit much better. But of course there would be something missing!
On today´s pics I wear my sweater from Stradivarius over my lace dress. Why buying skirts, when you can dresses into skirts :)
Since summer my swag-beanie is my absolute must-have. I love it so much, I wore it at 40° C in Paris, but for winter it´s also perfect!

Schwarzkopf Schauma Cotton Fresh Trocken-Shampoo

Today I like to present the "Schwarzkopf Schauma Cotton Fresh" dry shampoo!
I often heard, that dry shampoos aren´t effective or the effect disappears after a short time. To form my own opinion, I went to drugstore and bought this product. For 2,45€ an adequate price.
The package promises an extra day fresh hair. The application is really easy and takes under 5min.
Shake the can before using it, because otherwise the valve chokes. Spray with a distance of 20cm in the hairline, short appeal and rub it in with your fingertips. After that comb it out!
I really was surprised by the result. My hair looks like freshly washed and the volume has come back. It lasts the whole day. I just can advise this product, especially because it is one of the best in this prize-category!

Alexa Chung for Longchamp

The new spring/summer campaign by Longchamp really whets the appetite for better weather - intensive colours, glorious blue sky and in the thick of it: Alexa Chung! Also on every picture - of course - the leading motive the "Le Pliage", the bag of the season (I like the red one best!).
So it´s a good annual accounts for her! As the face of Longchamp, she follows in the steps of Coco Rocha and Kate Moss.
The pictures were shooted in St. Tropez and will be seen in the magazines from January. Until that we have to put up with the winter campaigns.

Best of 2013

Are you getting into the Christmas spirit too? For Christmas people often are making calendars, books or films out of the pictures, which they have been taking during the year. So I thought of doing the same with my this years outfit-pics in here. And here it is: The Best of 2013 Post :)

JilaJale

I hope you had a nice first advent!
Today is about Jila and Jale. They take part in teh german television show "Fashion Hero" with Claudia Schiffer and won the second prize. But they just had graduated from fashion school, so this placement is a considerable performance, above all Marcel Ostertag won the competition and he had have already a lot of collections and fashion weeks.
Anyway Jila and Jale will rev up. Not only, that they were the crowd pleaser, I also liked there finalcollection more than the one by Marcel Ostertag.
Since octbober they have their own label called "JilaJale" and with the Money, they earned at Fashion Hero, they have a good start capital. The actual fall/spring collection is, like the pieces they showed on TV, young and modern, but elegant. I am sure, that they will go really far. Good luck to them!

27112013: Houndstooth Pants

Finally there´s a new outfitpost! Actually I wanted to show you my Shopping yield bevor I Show this Outfit, but so it Comes next time :)
The Leggings I bought during my holiday trip at Stradivarius in Teneriffe. Stradivarius is a spanish fashion boutique and has shops all over there. It´s a pit, that there aren´t any shops here in Germany, because the stuff is really great!

"Fashion now" - The bible of Fashion

Today there´s eventual a new book tip. "Fashion Now" is made by the biritish magazine i-D and Shows the work of more than 90 Fashion designer from all over the world including Karl Lagerfeld or Miuccia Prada, but also exciting newcomer.
The book, listed in alphabetical order like an encyclopedia, comprises designer biographies, photographies by leading Fashion photographers and catwalk-pics. The texts are written in english, french and german, so you can improve your language :)
Because the issue was published in 2012, some designer aren´t assigned to the right fashion house, but this isn´t a problem.
I´ve bought the book at the "Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe" in Hamburg, after I visited the Fashion exhibition "Inside out", in which the book was displayed. And for the price of 10€, I didn´t hesitated. After this I saw the book (but with another cover) in Paris. There it was sold at H&M.
Alltogether I can recommend "Fashion Now" everyone (especially for the unbeatable Price), ´cause it´s really interessting to get to know the career of the designer and adept one or two details.

Holiday Part 7: Lanzarote

Today is the last part of my holiday pictures. In Lanzarote we lay on in Arrecife and went nearly over the whole island. Everything under the motto: César Manrique (1919-1992). He was a spanish Artist, who influenced this Island so much and created most of the tourist attractions.

First we visited the overlook "Mirador del Rio", which was made in rock and from which you have a fantastic view over the coast and the strait "Rio".
After that we went to "Jameos del Agua" - a lava cave with a lake, in which live unique albino crawfishs. Here you walk down stone stairs to a Restaurant with a view over the salt lake. It has apropos tides, although it hasn´t got a connection to the sea. Everything is really beautiful overgrowned with plants and when you leave the cave, you see the next masterpiece of César Manrique the "Jameo Grande" - a white pool with clear water and palms.
Next station: the "Jardin de Cactus" - for me an absolut highlight. The cactus garden is big and built like an ámphitheater made in a stone pit. But nevertheless pure nature :)
After that we went to the "Fundación César Manrique", which is in the former living house of the artist. Special are the five lava bubbles, which are living area under the house and also a lot of art is exposed here.

When you come to Lanzarote you can´t hide from César Manrique, because he influenced the island like no one else and made nature to art. His life Goal was to make the island to one of the beautiful places in the world and this is exactly what he did!
