Shopping in Paris

I really've already told you a lot about Paris, but about the most important thing I have nothing said, yet: shopping :)

Champs-Elyseés
Of all the places in Paris, here you can really shop best. There are shops in each price category. Of course, it is particularly crowded by tourists, but you have to live with it ;)  The shops range from the "basics" H & M, Adidas, Zara up to Gap, Morgan and other french chains. Of course not to forget the huge Louis Vuitton store!

Les Halles
If you ever visit Paris, you don´t have to go to this shopping center! It was especially mentioned in tourist guides, because it is underground. Unfortunately, it is totally under construction. One part of the center is nice and new, the other is completely site. In addition, the stores had all an unpleasant smell (because of the construction work?).

(Flea)-markets
One day I was on the " Puces de la Porte de Montreuil "market, which has been touted with 2nd hand clothes, electrical items and works of art. However, when I got there: Culture Shock! It was absolutely filthy and the things that were sold, looked as worn for 10 years. The flea market is absolutely not recommended!
The next day it ran better at the " Puces de Saint-Ouen-Clignancourt "(the largest market in Paris). The stalls selling reconditioned merchandise and if you were lucky too at reasonable prices. But many things, such as printed t-shirts are overpriced here. Nevertheless, visiting this market is definitely worth it!

Galerie Vivienne
It´s a beautiful passage in which is located, next to restaurants and a library, a store of Jean Paul Gaultier.

Lafayette
After the Champs-Elysées definitely one of the best streets. The Lafayette (not quite as nice as the one in Berlin) and the department store Le Printemps offer especially the luxury brands such as Chanel, Hermes and Saint Laurent. Yet it is a particularly busy (especially at Lafayette). When the street Chaussée d'Antin  goes on, there are a few nice shops and including a shop in shop store, where brands like Adidas, Converse, Nike ... are sold cheaper and including a skater floor and Pull and Bear.

other streets
Rue de Sevres is one of the better streets. The highlight here is the luxury department store "Le Bon Marche". Rue d'Alesia was touted, because of the outlet stores and docks, but when I was there, there was nothing like this! At the Rue de Rivoli (along the Louvre) are mainly lots of souvenir shops lined up, but right near is the Rue du Saint Fauborg Honuré , the most expensive street in Paris.

Everything I've mentioned above are my personal impressions! If you have made other experiences, you can write this as a comment.
